This week we’re compelled to share a video. It’s a documentary short about the GMO situation taking over Hawai’i. The islands we think of as paradise have been inundated with multinational agro-chemical corporations using the fertile land as test sites for highly toxic seeds and pesticides. But for some reason, the rest of the world has trouble imagining that there could be such threatening issues there. But that’s just the case; and this film really highlights the urgency of the situation. It’s another important reminder that a vegan diet is just one piece of the food puzzle–we must also take into consideration where our food comes from every step of the way.
