I know summer doesn’t officially start until next month, but we’re celebrating early with Coconut Key Lime as our cookie of the month flavor for May.
These delightful bites of paradise, along with everyone’s favorite Double Chocolate Brownies (now made wheat-free), and pucker-licious Sour Cherry Chocolate Fudge are being shipped today to all our lovely monthly club members. So, take your brownie, fudge or cookie of the month treats and go have a picnic, ’cause summer time is on the way!

The latest news from Allison’s Gourmet’s vegan bakery is that next month’s Double Chocolate Brownies will be our second wheat-free brownie flavor! This is exciting news, as it offers people with wheat sensitivities more brownie options to enjoy.
But they’re not just for people who eat wheat-free. I’m a firm believer in a balanced diet, and even if you don’t react to wheat or gluten, they are so ubiquitous in our food culture that it seems a good idea for everyone to take a break from eating glutinous grains now and then. Expand your horizons, give your body something new and interesting to chew on: wheat-free brownies made with oat flour!
As for the rest of our products, most of them do not have gluten as an intended ingredient. However, because we currently use wheat flour for our gourmet cookies and all the other brownie flavors in our vegan bakery, none of our products can be guaranteed gluten-free. We would love to eventually have all of our products made without gluten, so keep your ears open, and please give us your comments and questions!

One of our goals here at Allison’s Gourmet is to offer the very best, most delicious, premium sweets available. We strive to create elegant, delicious vegan desserts that everyone can enjoy. In that direction we’ve been doing all kinds of baking tests lately working on making gluten- and sugar-free versions of our organic brownies and cookies that are just as good as our originals. Today we tested a gluten-free version of our classic chocolate chip cookies with organic coconut sugar and they turned out really good! We’re still perfecting the gluten- and sugar-free organic brownies, but are confident that we’ll get there!!
We want to know: is gluten-free important to you? How about sugar-free?

We’re famous for our organic brownies, and for all you fans out there, here’s a sneak preview of the delectable
flavors we’ll be offering in the coming months: February is gorgeous Cherry Chocolate Brownies just in time for Valentine’s Day. For those of you who like your chocolate truly unadulterated, March’s flavor will be Original. In April we’ll be offering Amaretto Almond Brownies, an exquisite fusion of nutty, toasted almonds, sweet amaretto, and rich dark chocolate. Finally, for the ultimate chocolate experience, we’ll have Double Chocolate Brownies in May, so you can give your Mom some awesome organic brownies for Mother’s Day. Enjoy!
