Unique and Delicious Fudge Flavors
I’m always a little sad when, around this time of year, I start to feel Autumn in the air. I’m a summertime kind of girl, and the transition to Fall means that cold, dark winter is just around the corner. One of the things that makes the coming change in the seasons bearable, however, is that Butterscotch Pecan fudge is September’s fudge flavor. 
Words don’t really do it justice, but let me just say that creamy, Butterscotch-flavored white fudge, with an intoxicating scent of caramel and vanilla, perfectly paired with toasted pecans is just the thing to make the idea of coming winter seem like not such a bad thing. You may be surprised that my favorite fudge flavor isn’t a chocolate one, but its uniqueness is part of its charm. Our friends at VegNews like it so much that it has become their preferred corporate food gift whenever we have it available.

Next Month’s Wheat-Free Cookies: Oatmeal Raisin
Yesterday, we made test batches of September’s gourmet cookies: (Wheat-Free) Oatmeal Raisin. 
This is our fourth Wheat-Free cookie flavor, and they are amazing (I’m eating some right now)! Allison’s constant quest for more and more innovative and delicious gourmet cookies, brownies and confections is part of the reason we’ve been nominated for Favorite Vegan Bakery (Online), Favorite Vegan Cookie Company, and Favorite Vegan Chocolate in the 2010 VegNews Veggie Awards. Allison’s column “Veganize It!” is also nominated for Favorite Column.

From Allison’s Test Kitchen: Our First Wheat-Free Cookie Flavor
We’ve been working in Allison’s test kitchen for the last couple of weeks to perfect our first flavor of wheat-free vegan cookies! 
We’re getting close, and hopefully we’ll have the formula for new Wheat-Free Peanut Butter Cookies perfected in time for July’s monthly club shipments next week.
Creating wheat-free vegan cookies is no small task even for a master baker like Allison. But, since we have such high standards for the quality of our ingredients, and Allison insists that only the very best products make it out of the testing phases, even the duds are pretty tasty. I keep sneaking into the kitchen to steal cookies from the reject batches. 
Being taste-testers is part of everyone’s job here at Allison’s, and we love it! It’s one of the sweet perks to working at a vegan bakery.

Summer’s Flavor Highlights
Monthly Clubs will be arriving on doorsteps today or tomorrow and while everyone’s munching their new delicacies, I wanted to give you the highlights of what you can look forward to flavor-wise this summer. Next month we’re bringing back an old favorite, soft peanut butter cookies, and to complete the all-American feeling, we’re also offering an out-of-this-world Apple Pie white fudge in July that you have to try to believe. August offers my favorite Toasted Coconut brownies, which are as delicious as they are beautiful, and we finish up summer with classic spiced Oatmeal Raisin cookies and everyone’s favorite Butterscotch Pecan white fudge. So mark your calendars, or treats yourself or someone you love to a monthly club for the summer to sample all these great flavors and more!
Speaking of flavor highlights, I noticed that Key Lime and Peanut Butter were two of the top choices on our favorite flavors poll on Facebook last week and I just wanted to point out that we have Coconut Key Lime Cookies on our website right now, and that soft peanut butter cookies will be here soon, so those cravings may soon be quenched, for some of you at least.
