Fudge Wins!
A few weeks ago, we learned something new from our customers. For Father’s Day, we promoted what we thought were most Dads’ favorite things: peanut brittle, fair-trade coffee, chipotle caramels, and organic brownies. 
But, you all obviously know better than we do, because the majority of you chose vegan fudge for the important Dads in your lives instead. We had no idea how many men love chocolate, specifically fudge! We always thought that the guys in our lives were unusual in their ardent love of chocolate, but I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. As one woman put it:
“I wanted to get him something nice, and I thought about what would make him the most happy. Right now, the thing that makes him most happy is your fudge, so I’d like to order some for him.” —L.C., Piedmont, CA
So, fellas love our fudge; especially the Chipotle Cinnamon, Sour Cherry, and Java Crunch flavors! Hopefully, knowing this fact will make gift-giving a little easier from now on. Summertime Menu Ideas
As we move out of winter into warmer weather, for many of us our tastes change. Those rich, warm dishes that we crave in the colder months get moved aside in favor of fresher, lighter fare. 
But, just because you’re craving salads and sandwiches doesn’t mean that some classic comfort foods can’t make an appearance on your table. Other summertime favorites include All-American Potato Salad, vegan barbecue, and of course Allison’s famous Mac ‘n’ Cheese, which is an all-time favorite any time of year.
As for warm-weather desserts, you know we always have you covered in that department. 
Some of our not-to-be-missed summertime flavors include zesty Coconut Key Lime Cookies, refreshing Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies, and soft Peanut Butter Cookies (coming in July), as well as Sour Cherry and Apple Pie fudge flavors!
Looking Forward to: Spring Flavors
2010 was a busy year around here, what with testing all the new oat flour versions of our vegan cookies and brownies as well as creating our new line of salted caramels and brittle. 
But, life in the vegan fast lane is never dull, so with monthly club shipments done for the month, we’re hard at work again perfecting the two final vegan cookie flavors to be transitioned to oat flour: Butterscotch Pecan Cookies for March, and Coconut Key Lime Cookies for May. April’s Amaretto Almond Brownies will be the final brownie flavor to make the switch as well.
As far as fudge flavor highlights for spring, here’s what we’re looking forward to: Vanilla Chai white fudge in March, Peppermint Velvet fudge in May, and Sour Cherry Chocolate fudge in June. Let’s enjoy our way to warmer weather!

Summer’s Fudge Flavors
We have some really outstanding fudge flavors coming up this summer and I want to give you all a sneak peak so you can start planning your picnic menus. 
Our flavor of the month for May is Sour Cherry Chocolate, a pucker-liscious combination of chocolate and fruit that tastes just like chocolate springtime!
June’s fudge flavor will be Peppermint Velvet, a smooth chocolate fudge that’s as delicious as it’s name and a great fair-trade gift for mint lovers everywhere.
Apple Pie fudge, coming in July, is an especially exciting variety of white fudge complete with pie spices and apple chunks just in time for the height of summer.

Summer Flavors on the Way
I know summer doesn’t officially start until next month, but we’re celebrating early with Coconut Key Lime as our cookie of the month flavor for May. These delightful bites of paradise, along with everyone’s favorite Double Chocolate Brownies (now made wheat-free), and pucker-licious Sour Cherry Chocolate Fudge are being shipped today to all our lovely monthly club members. So, take your brownie, fudge or cookie of the month treats and go have a picnic, ’cause summer time is on the way!
